چکیده

Benzimidazole (BMZ) family of anti-worm drugs has been now repurposed as anti-cancer drugs. However, offering a general reformulation method for these is essential due to their hydrophobicity and low aqueous solubility. In this work, we developed approach load typical BMZ tiny nanocrystals within lipid-coated calcium phosphate (LCP) nanoparticles. drug-loaded LCP nanoparticles increased solubility in PBS by 100–200% significantly enhanced the efficacy treatment B16F0 melanoma cells. These drug-LCP induced much more cancer cell apoptosis, generated reactive oxygen species (ROS) inhibited Bcl-2 expression Moreover, caused morphological change extension disruption cells, reduced migration activity, representing high possibility inhibition tumor dissemination metastasis. Very advantageously, did not show any obvious toxicity, changes HEK293T healthy conclusion, drug-incorporated nanoformulations may be valuable nanomedicine that able inhibit primary tumors prevent with minimum side effects on cells tissues.

Preparation of optimized lipid-coated calcium phosphate nanoparticles for enhanced in vitro gene delivery to breast cancer cells.

Lipid coated calcium phosphate (LCP) nanoparticles (NPs) remain an attractive option for siRNA systemic delivery. Previous research has shown that the stoichiometry of reactants affects the size and morphology of nanostructured calcium phosphate (CaP) particles. However, it is unclear how synthesis parameters such as the Ca/P molar ratio and mixing style influence the siRNA loading and protecti...

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs induce colorectal cancer cell apoptosis by suppressing 14-3-3epsilon.

To determine the role of 14-3-3 in colorectal cancer apoptosis induced by nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), we evaluated the effects of sulindac on 14-3-3epsilon protein expression in colorectal cancer cells. Sulindac sulfide inhibited 14-3-3epsilon proteins in HT-29 and DLD-1 cells in a time- and concentration-dependent manner. Sulindac sulfone at 600 mumol/L inhibited 14-3-3epsil...

Engineered nanoparticles induce cell apoptosis: potential for cancer therapy

Engineered nanoparticles (ENPs) have been widely applied in industry, commodities, biology and medicine recently. The potential for many related threats to human health has been highlighted. ENPs with their sizes no larger than 100 nm are able to enter the human body and accumulate in organs such as brain, liver, lung, testes, etc, and cause toxic effects. Many references have studied ENP effec...

Chenopodium Botrys as a Source of Sesquiterpenes to Induce Apoptosis and G1 Cell Cycle Arrest in Cervical Cancer Cells

Conducting cell apoptosis pathways is a novel strategy in cancer treatment. This study aimed to explain that C. botrys essential oil could induce apoptosis and arrest the cell cycle in HeLa cells. Cytotoxic and apoptogenic effects of the essential oil of Jerusalem-oak (Chenopodium botrys L.), which was obtained from the aerial parts of the plant, were evaluated in HeLa cells. Cell viability was...

Cell-mediated protein release from calcium-phosphate-coated titanium implants.

Implants used in dental and orthopaedic surgery should become osseointegrated into native bone. In an endeavour to potentiate bone formation, prostheses, coated with a coprecipitated layer of calcium phosphate and the osteogenic agent BMP-2, were implanted at an ectopic site in rats. Five weeks later, the implants were surrounded by a substantial mass of bone. Our findings indicate that the dru...
